Hey fellow stackers. Anyone know what the blueish icon with 5 diagonal stars on it represents? It shows up to the left of the signal strength icon during a connected call. Just curious.

Isn't that what the signal strength stands for?

I think that's a network indicator like for roaming or home area. I think that I read that on another thread. If I find it I'll post it.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I can't seem to find it but it could also mean you have updates from your carrier. I'm not sure though. Can you post a screen shot of your BB?

http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com..._of_my_bb.html try this, it's a little complicated but it's a big help in some circumstances.

    Re: Icon?

If you don't want to go through all of that then you could stop by your carrier and ask them to be sure. If everything works right I wouldn't give it too much thought. I know that I read somewhere that it had to do with service, just can't remember what though...sorry

    Re: Icon?

Does anybody have a link to a site that shows and explains exactly what the icons on the 8130's screen actually stand for? Usually in the user guides they show the screen with an explanation of each icon. I can't seem to find that for the Pearl 8130. Thanks in advance.
