I took the trackball assembly apart

I took the assembly out in five minutes but made the mistake of unsnapping it apart. Once it unsnapped it wont snap back. I had to assemble it layer by layer in the phone itself. I got it back though finally. Crazy.

I want to replace my trackball with a small marble, or a frozen pea, or a newt eye

Perhaps a kidney stone would serve as an effective replacement.

If you had a kidney stone the size of the Pearl Trackball...I'm sure we all would have heard about it on CNN.

Lol,a kidney stone. But ya the small marble would be pretty sweet although unless it was translucent the led wouldn't light it up very much.

Actually that's not that big of a kidney stone. I had one 6mm across which is about a quarter inch. Mind you they did the ultrasound thing to break it up as there was no way to pass that baby. Lol. But there was a woman there at the same time that had one 1.4 cm or over half an inch in diameter! Yowsers!
