I upgraded my 8120 to 4.5 last night and everything is working fine EXCEPT that I was under the impression that I would gain full HTML email when I upgrade, but did not.

Am I missing a step here or did I misunderstand something?

    Thanks for your help!

In messages, options, email settings, enable html email. Also in browser, options, browser configuration, support html tables. Also resend service books may help.

Make sure your e-mail settings are set to receive HTML e-mails, then try resending service books.

Sometimes you have to re-send your service books and re-boot your bberry before you will have those HTML email options to choose.

Everthing is working great now! The only issue I seem to have is I have it set to automatically DL pictures but I seem to do it manually on each email. But get, that's not a bad deal at all! I'm happy to have html emails and youtube lol
    Thanks again for your help.

Well, there are differing opinions on this here. I have yet to receive a message where I didn't have to manually request an image download. Others have said that if the leave they message open long enough, the images will download on their own.

I understand it to be a security issue, ie when you download HTML images, you are opening up a security hole, thus the verification message when you do request the download, asking you if you're sure that's what you want to do.

Anyway, someone said this will be resolved in future releases, but it remains to be seen!

DARRYL71- to resend the service books go to....

options>> advance options >> host routing table >> go to the selection that is in bold>> select menu -- ( the button to the left of the trackball ) >> select register now...

do a battery pull , and you are all set!
