I believe that the wipe should do it as effectivly as any method except a java wipe (which would require you to re-istall your OS from scratch.

You can do a complete wipe using JL_cmder and then reinstall the OS.

    Link for JL_cmder here:

I'd be satisfied with doing a wipe personally.

i mean given i save everything on the memory card i got in there, but im just worried about the password vault type stuff. if that is enough to wipe it out then i can rest easy, but if it can be restored then i have no choice but to do the JL_CMDR thing. By the way... What other uses is JL_CMDR used for anyways? i hear it all the time but i do not know what it is used for.

Re: How to completely clear out phone memory

JL_Cmder completely wipes the phone clean including the operating sytem (almost like formating a drive). Typically used when you have a corrupt OS before a clean re-install is performed. But beware...many users post back frantically after a java wipe with problems re-installing and I doubt your carrier will look kindly on you returning a phone with no operating system!
