Well its pretty logical, I noticed that tiny when I bought it and I couldent think of anything else it could be used for other than the strap. I wish they'd include one thou

Just look for any basic lanyard. You do not need anything fancy.

And they are definitely worth it.

The 7100 series are tanks. You can run over with a car, and it will still work...ok I won't go that far

This all sounds pretty gay to me. If you're that worried why not just buy a protective cover?

honestly i think it looks so un hot lol, it makes the phone look cheap, and that your just to dam stupid to keep a hold of things, thats just my personal opinion and its not directly aimed at anyone, i hate any phone with one of these on.

Not really. I went thru 5 of them in 2 years.

BB 7100T-radio died (replaced after 4 months). By the way, this was one of the very first 7100T's sent out by T-Mo. I got it the week after this model was released back in 2004.

BB 7100T #2-delivered late and returned to T-Mobile. I was using the first of 2 7105T's when this one finally arrived 4 months late and was sent back. They sent it to the wrong address and NEVER told me even after 10 days. I had to call them and get #3 shipped .

BB 7100T #3-radio problems but not as bad as it still works in an emergency (This one replaced #1).

BB 7105T-USB charging port came loose causing the 'Berry to charge for only 3 seconds (replaced with #5 below). I got charged a $100 water damage fee when I sent this one back.

BB 7105T #2-trackwheel locked up (I could scroll up, down, left and right, but couldn't click in to select anything). This happened just 2 weeks after replacing the first 7105T. I sent this one back with the impossible to remove door off the original 7105T and didn't get charged LMAO

Got the BlackBerry 8100 Pearl (black version) after this happened. No problems yet. All but one of the BB's listed above have been dropped more times than I can count LOL The only one saved from torture was the 7100T I never used LOL

Sanfrancisco, great tip. I did the same thing and 7 or 8 guys I work with followed suit. It just makes sense and has saved me from fumbling my pearl on 3 occasions in 2 months.

By the way, I always enjoy your posts. Is that a real image of you in your signature? Just curious.
