    I hate that it will be bright for a sec then the screen just dims is there any way to keep it bright?

    Only if you downgrade to the .41 Tmobile Os. Many people don't like this what RIM calls "feature". I would love for them to make a change in the next os. Sorry, there is no way to keep it bright in the newer Oses.

    Depends on your OS. If you have Cingular and the rest you can't change it. Only the new TIM OS from Italy has the option back.

    Yep, that's the way to go. Lot's of nice new features and you can get back to the much coveted backlit dim control. Give it a try, everyone here will walk you through it and if you don't like it you can always go back to the OS you have now. Good luck.
