You will need to Open your Address Book, Scroll to the Contact you want to transfer, Open the contact and scroll to the phone number to associate with that name in the SIM Phone Book. Open the menu and select Copy to SIM Phone Book.

As they SIM Phone Book, only allows one phone number to be associated with a name this is the process that must be followed and also the reason that you have to do it one contact at a time.

You might want to try to find a PIM that both phones are compatible with and sync you BB Contacts to that and transfer them that way.

Yep, Do you have a PIM? Outlook, Lotus notes, ACT? if not you can even export them to a character separated ASCII file using your Desktop Manager Sync feature. THere are some good instructions in the Desktop Manager Help.
