how to create hidden folder in pearl 8100/8120

previously owned a pearl 8100 and on these forums there was a niffty little trick of creating a folder on your media card that could only be accessed by on the media page clicking explore. with my new 8120 i cant do that now, it was quite handy to hide the stuff away that you generally didnt want others looking at if you get my drift.

Are you running 4.3 OS on your 8120?? If so...then you might not be able to do this anymore, the newer OS's don't allow it (unfortunately)

Yeah that does suck........Maybe we'll get an app that will allow us to password protect folders.. that would be SWEET!!!

That feature was very useful, especially for hiding all of my racey photos.

This is NOT possible with the newer OS. The way the OS is designed on the newer models it's not it doesn't work.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~okay its easy! Go to your media>menu>explore>then you can choose Media Card or device memory, and you can make a folder there, and the only way you can see/access that folder is if you go Media>explore again
