I believe the default password length is also six characters. Keep it simple - no numbers, no upper case. I use just two letters repeated - qwqwqw - so that it's easy to enter with one hand!

    Re: Hidden Memory Cleaner

disable password disables the memory cleaner. Confirmed for me atleast.

I noticed the settings, isn't it automaticly setuped to clean every now and then.
Atleast thats what I understood from the settings I saw in the menu.
Could provide a screenshot tomorrow if needed.

Gives you Click by Click directions of unlocking a hidden memory cleaner.
Interesting, it was already showing on my 8130, but I had to enable the icon to show.

I have to enable mine all the time, it seems to reset to disabled all the time. It either does this when I reset the pearl or when I sync.

    Re: Hidden Memory Cleaner

As I've posted before, if enabing content protection is required to have access to the built in memory cleaner, it's not worth it. Content protection (encryption) slows overall performance of the device.

You'd be better off with the free Memory Up:
    http://www.emobistudio.com/memoryup_bb.html

Both Zip and OTA (.jad) downloads available. Enhanced version available for $15.
