    i've done that but the password is still there! when i put my phone in the holster or if it stays idle it locks still

    If you have content protection on the password must be also on, where it says lock upon holster make sure it says no, you have to have both setting on password and content protection they go hand in hand.

    Your profile says your BB is connected to your company BES, I would imagine the BES Admins have installed an IT policy requiring the password protection. If this is the case, you will have to live with it unless they will remove that restriction.

    I actually feel stupid. Its was right in front of my face. Go to options. The security. Then to general options. The first options is password. And next to password it says enabled. Click on it and change it to disable. That's it.

    I enabled content protection settings and added the memory cleaner to my home screen then decided that i wasn't fond of entering the password for everything, went back disabled content protection and the memory cleaner is still on my home screen and functional.

    Good news for those on an 8100 with the newest .107 software i guess..

    I appoligize if this had already been mentioned before.

    I have the 8703e and when I disable the the password it also disables the content protection.
