Yes, you'll definitely want to get a media card. On average, a music file is 4-5mb. BlackBerry devices don't have a lot of on-board memory, so a few songs could end up using up all your free space on the device.

You can find cards in stores like Radio Shack, Best Buy and others, depending on where you live. Capacity is also dependent on your device Operating System, which you can read about here.

Please update your profile with your device, OS, location, etc so we can better assist you!

Also, the beauty of having a microSDHC card in your device is that you then don't really need media manager to get the music, pictures, etc to your device. You can just drag and drop them from your PC to the folders on the media card!

    Cheers,
    Roger

them, your device memory is such that you cant DL very many pictures at all and almost no MP3s, you will have to get a media card, as Roger stated. Ebay is a great source also but it will take a few days. Some advice if you dont mind-get at LEAST a 2GB card, a 1GB will fill up quickly, I know this by experience, I have a 4GB in my 8310-good luck and welcome to Pinstack!

So you are in the UK, them? And you have at least a 4.3.0 OS on your device? You'll need at least that to support an 8gb media card.

Oh, all the cards that came up from your search were from a UK seller!

I got my 8gb card at Amazon.com for like 20 bucks!

Options>About, 3rd line down is your OS.

Here is a good deal at Amazon.

Newegg.com always has good deals, too.

    them,

Click on the Frequently Asked Device Questions link in my signature below. There you'll find threads on what current OS's are available for your device as well as instructions on upgrading the OS.

I mention this because OS's 4.3 and above enable you to use higher capacity cards.

Again, updating your Profile with your device and OS information enables us to help you faster and ask less questions! Click on My Tools in the toolbar above and you'll see an option to edit your profile.

    Good luck!

    Roger

You need to go to Options>About, then it's the third line down.
