Help with setting up work email

    Hi Everyone,

Another question - I tried finding the answer and calling tech support but no go...

I have to set-up a bunch of different emails for my different clients. This one particular one I am having trouble setting up because I have to use their server.

I tried doing it from the phone and the t-mobile website but that did not work.

I have Outlook on my pc at home but usually access this through webmail.

Now when it asks me for the info to set it up - it asks for the server and gives the example of: "exchange.domainname.com/exchange" - that doesn't work for me.

I go to mailstreet.com - click on web access - enter my domain name- then it takes me to a login screen and asks me for my user name and password - I don't get it.

So I called mailstreet up and they tell me I can't do it that way. I need to sign up for their bb service which is $40 and $10 per month thereafter.

I guess I will sign up if I have to, but I just wanted to make sure that was legit. Is there a way around this?

    Thanks,
    Holly

Holly, is the account you're trying to set up on a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server)?

holly - have you tried simply inputting the email addresses thru on your BIS account?
i haven't ever used mailstreet.com, as i access offsite email thru my internet browser.
    is mailstreet your mail host/server?

    Hi,

    Mailstreet is the exchange host.

I tried setting it up all different ways - nothing will work.

What they are saying is I need to subscribe to BB Enterprise Server for $9.95 a month. Now from reading I think I am going to have to do it.

    Thanks.

If you have to use mailstreet for this client, there probably isn't a way around the cost.

Thanks. I ended up having to get it through them.

Now I can't find the enterprise icon to get it going...ahhh
