    Help with pearl keypad

Sometimes, on the top right corner of the phone a slanted rectangle appears that says 'cap'. If I press the shift button it changes to 'num'. When these rectangles are present, my keypad acts funnily. I thought that it happens only when the phone is in low power and it goes away when the phone gets charged. But now, I am having it even when the phone is charged.

Maybe there is a shortcut to get rid of this. Maybe its a serious phone problem. Could someone shed some light on it?

    Thanks.

Try this: press and hold the symbol key for 3 secs. If not a batt pull should fix the issue.

The 'cap' is Caps Lock. The 'NUM' is Number Lock. Like thbassman said, a battery pull should fix it.
