Help with media player
I have a 8130 from verizon, that i use to listen to music a lot, but every time i get a call or message it cuts off the music and it does not resume after.
This bugs me because i listen to music on my motorcycle and i cant get to the phone to clear the message or missed call and resume the music.
Is there anyway to set it up so that the music resumes once the call is missed/message received ?
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~yai would like to know too.
Anyone ? no ? no way around this ?
It doesn't seem there's an answer to this... Just be careful reaching for your blackberry on your motorcycle when you clear your missed calls I guess
lol for that i'll just pull over and do it, i was just trying to avoid that
I noticed the same thing with mine, it sometimes works fine, and goes back to playing, it someitmes does not.
the only thinG i can do is turn it to vibrate while working out, or while driving the car and using the BT for stereo.
Same thing happens to me on my bike....sucks!!
If you have the headphones that came with ur BB you can hit the talk key on it, and if its in the media player screen it should resume playing again. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
Headphones that came with the BB? I must have missed them in my box, as when I bought the phone new from Verizon, there were no headphones.
Yeah they came with my, recheck the box incase you over look them. They can be used to listen to music and if you hold the botton itll activate the voice calling thing. Sorry for the late responce

I have downloaded the media player called miutunes.
This player will allow the ring for your phone and mesages to cut the music out. Once the phone is done ringging and giving you the alert it resumes play.
The player is currently in beta testing and is a free download.
Give it a shot and let them and us what you think.

MIUtunes came out of beta testing this morning.
However there is a trial version for 7 days available for everyone.
They have the end user price listed @ $30 right now. I think that it is worth it forsure. Any of you in this post try it out?

Anyone happen to know why my bbpearl headphones don't seem to work with miutunes, but does w/ the built in media player? Thanks in advance! Lori
