Help in Organizing my apps....
I want to organize my Pearl a bit and put all of my games in a folder. Is that possible? If so, how do I do it? Also, I have several games and I would like to take some off but I don't want to risk losing them forever... How can I take them off of the phone and store them on the computer until I want to return them to the phone.
do you still have the .alx or .jar files on your computer from when you downloaded them? if you do than you can use the dm to erase those games from your phone and when ever you want them back all you have to do is use the dm to install them again like you did in the first place.
it is very simple to create a new folder on your Home.
Go to an Icon view hit your application key and select "Add Folder"
you can name this folder and create it. then to move your games into it highlight the object you wish to move the push your application key again select "Move" and drag the object over top of the folder that you have just created.
About pulling them off and on I am not sure what the consequences of pulling them off are. I am sure that someone will hop in and give you some more of what you are looking for.
i hope this gets you off to a start at least.

On my home screen I can't make folders. Seems that its a feature not available on the 8100.

It's not.. but I heard 4.5 will allow it?
i rly hope 4.5 is all its cracked up to be. it seemingly is the answer to all the problems that everyone has with the 8100. if this upgrades that good, then no wonder its taking so long to be released
TRUST me...im a pro
With all the hoopla about 4.5, anyone else think we're putting too much pressure on the poor thing?
yea, i can see this either being an incredible upgrade puting BB above its current status, or it could very well flop and be the equivilent of Window Vista...
TRUST me...im a pro
lol @ windows vista comment.
as of today, at noon, i went back to 4.2 from 188.8.131.52 and i can verify that 4.5 has the ability to make folders.
