help! free boot stub?
I have something called feebootstub on my 8100 all of a sudden - it showed up this morning - and don't know why or how to get rid of it. Please help!
Who is your carrier / what country?
When you say it just appeared, is this an icon on your home screen?
I'm in USA with tmobile. Yes its an icon on my home screen. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
Did you recently download anything or do a battery pull prior to this appearing?
Try going into your device Options>Advanced Options>Service Book
and see if there's a service book by that name. If so you can try deleting it.
It may have been pushed by your carrier to your BB.
My husband got this after downloading the battery pull program from handmark. I have restored his last backup file from before installing this program but the icon is still there. Its not showing up in the modules or in the service books. Any help would be appreciated!
I no longer have it on either of my BB's (both from T-Mobile USA).

This has been associated with missing a battery pull or not responding quick enough when prompted to do one. As lava girl stated this can be deleted safely.
