SUCCESS, yeah!!! For once since I have bought this phone I feel like it is not smarter then me! Now I can't wait for someone to call me so I can test out the new OS. I will let you all know if the delay is gone.

Sorry TheCow no password issue here. I wish I could help. I hope your problem gets resolved.

Sorry to be negative, but you should still have the delay with the new OS.

Re: Help - Delay when answering my pearl?!

I only get a delay when my mom calls me. I just thought she was deaf until I found this.

I've only had this phone for a few days or so but everyone else that has called me so far can hear me immediately. My phone came loaded with .64 operating system.

Yep, you can download .71 as well. I'm with tmo also, had the call delay with .64 and .71 fixed it!

Sorry Cliffr39, your right, I was not paying attention. Cingular is ahead of t-mobile with the OS. I have the latest “t-mobile” OS .64 which means I still have the retarded delay. I have not switched to Cingulars OS because I have had to exchange my phone a few times and if T-mo finds another OS on your phone they will supposedly void the warranty. I have just started leaning on my bluetooth more for calls. Its like putting a band aid on a broken leg, but it works until T-mo gets it together with an OS update.
