hello guys I got a MEP code the other day from t-mobile. There is a couple of issues with the unlocking procedure
    1. network MEP code attempts = 0
    2. MEP code is consisted of 6 digits not 10 as said in the forums
    3. it seems the code doesnt work

    what I did
    1. settings - advanced options - sim card (turned off the wireless)
    2. MEPD
    3. MEP2
    4. nothing happened

what is my next step to unlock my Blackberry Pearl 8100...the other firm offers better conditions, that is why I trouble my self with this

when typing the "p" key did you hit it twice? Common mistake with most users with 8100 series phones

Looks like someone dissolved the 10 attempts at unlocking it. Now I'm not sure what happens once they are dissolved whether or not you can still unlock the phone at that point or not.

At&t is on the phone with you, guiding through the procedure. That should be Tmo's policy too. It allieviates problems like this. If you haven't yet done so, get on the phone with their tech support in order to reset this device, then unlock it. Best regards
