    Try pulling the battery out for 30 seconds and the put it back, your BB will pwr back up on its own. Try reconnecting and if this doesn't work check to see if you have the most current software on www.blackberry.com.

    have you changed your dm forthe 4.3 os? personally i would delete the original dm then reload using the disk supplied with your 8120. well that what i did when i had the same problem

    Make sure you have installed the CD that came with the new Pearl, the old phones will work with the new DTM, but the new phones will not work with the old DTM.

    Sorry I didn't get across my advise right.
    You will need to reload your dm as pda.teck says.
    New BB with a new os will need the new dm to work.
