Seidio has some good adapters. You can also go to Best Buy and they have a few set of headphones that are made for cell phones with the smaller jack that I have bought.

Radio Shack has adapters.... just show them your phone and they'll get one for you.

No they will show you the wrong adapter. No matter what they tell you, the normal two ring stereo adapter will not work. You need one that has three rings from what I hear. This is coming from someone who had to return a radio shack adapter. I even showed them my phone when I bought it.

I think you can find the rugky adapter online somewhere.

Correct. You need the 3 ring adapter. I beleive that Seidio has them on line.

It is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo headset/mic adapter. RadioShack and everywhere else has them.

I have a stereo headset that came with my Cingular 8125 and it doesn't work with my pearl. It has 3 rings but audio only plays through one of the ear pieces.

    Re: Headphone Jack??

The radio shack ones are CRAP I bought one in need before a trip and it wouldn't stay in the jack and because it doesn't have 4 rings it only plays through 1 ear so don't buy it from them.

    Re: Headphone Jack??

does anyone know if there is an adapter so i can use my pearl headphones on regular devices? I think this is the opposite of wht everyone is talking about here. So i would need something that makes my small pearl jack into a larger one. thanks!

    Re: Headphone Jack??

I purchased an adapter from Radio Shack (after showing them my phone and making sure it had 3 rings on the plug). But when I plug it into my phone music still comes through my Phone speaker.

Is there a setting on my phone for me to enable a headset or does my phone possibly have a bad headphone socket? I would assume that even if the adapter was not suitable it should at least stop the sound coming from my phones speaker once it is plugged in.

    Thanks.
