I took my pearl out of my purse this morning only to find a pretty deep scratch on his screen. I'd say its about an inch long, which makes it really terrible to look at while reading messages and such. What can I do?
Ditto on the BestSkinsEver. For around $7.00 you can get a complete set of skins to cover your BlackBerry, including the screen.Originally Posted by cherrichiodo

That does look pretty awesome. I have to say though that I am skeptical of the BSE. I have one on my 8100 and I can definitely tell it's there. When it finally set, it had what auto painters refer to as an "orange peel" defect. Meaning that the BSE wasn't completely smooth, it was slightly bumpy like...well, an orange peel.
I followed the directions to a "T". The application process is almost identical to applying window tint, and I've got some experience with that. So, I know it was done correctly.
Has anybody else encountered this problem with BSE?
Sorry russ, nothing here. Mine is smooth as can be. Maybe it just need to set a little longer. I remember when I first put mine on it was like that a little. I can still see a bumpiness but most of it is gone. I've had my skin forever. Since I got my pearl back in Dec, so maybe give it some time?
hope that helps
Have you tried Displex? I got some online on ebay. It bascially takes a few layers of the screen off. I had 3 huge gashes on my sidekick screen and decided to try it since it couldn't really get any worse. You have to rub it on for a good amount of time I think it took me at least 20 minutes, but it definately made the scratches near invisible!
~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~on the edges of my pearl the bse has dirt and whatever else stuck but the amount of times ice rubbed my phone against something that I just knew would scratch it bse was of course there! Thank god for it. Seriously the 7 dollars is worth every penny!
or you got... no.... game.... hahahah jk homes!
