Having trouble with the mass storage

Hey all, just got my 8100 couple days ago. I'm having some trouble using the USB storage. When I have it connected I can see the Removable Disk in windows explorer, but when i try to access it it asks me to insert disk into the drive. Is this a problem with my phone or with my computer?

Is it listed in your Device Manager, when connected? Have you tried the hardware wizard?

you may need to enable mass storage mode. should be around options/advanced/media card
you shouldnt need desktop manager to access it as a removable device thru explorer

heavy is right - you do not need DM to access the sd card from your desktop if mass storage is enabled. It sounds like you may need to format the card-

    Options-Advanced- Media
Check here that Media Card support is on and mass storage support is on.
Then MENU will bring up a format option.

When I would enable mass storage mode, I could not access the sd card through Desktop manager. When I would leave it off is when I could access it. So whoever is having trough finding it trough desktop manager, try turning off the mass storage mode
