You can't change them out. You can color over them with a sharpie but no way to change them out.

    Good luck

Oh okay. Thanks for letting me know. I wish BB came with a nice blue backlight for the keypad, would look so much better.

Thanks for the link. Looks like it would be a complicated process though with alot of soldering. Not sure if that would be worth it.

Lol. I would be the same way. I searched and found this. Exactly what I would want it to look like but too risky.

Yeah he just took scotch tape and colored it and placed it over the lights. Heres another one I found with someone who colored the LEDs. Looks brighter, could be the color though.

Another one....Seems the best method is using the scotch tape method not coloring the LED's directly. I posted these all up incase anyone had the balls to actually do this. lol

Re: Has Anyone Changed The LED's Behind the Keypad?

Anytime you change boards in a device that are not from the original manufacturer you run into some adverse effects. Loss of button sensitivity, reception... etc... etc....... I would not recommend anyone who love their BB to do this. If you try I hope you opted for the insurance if available at the time you purchased yours, but if they see you tried to mod it, they will not honor it.
