    Hard Reset Question???

Im selling my phone and want EVERYTHING of it so it can be clean for the new owner. I did the hard reset but after I rebooted it still shows my number when I press the send button. Anything special I need to do?

    Thanks.

Also, it still has my voice mail number in it. How do I get it back to like it was when I first got it?

Have you pulled your SIM card yet?

When you say Hard Reset, do you mean Device Wipe
    (Options-Security_General_Menu_Wipe Handheld)?

Did you wipe the device? And has the service been disconnected from the phone yet?

Hmm....I would have thought that the device wipe should have taken care of that....

Me to. It is the most puzzling thing!! It is a brand new phone that I activated for 5 minutes then went back to my old BB.

I'm thinking it might still be activated on your account. You said you wiped the phone but try this. Go to Options/Security Options/general settings and open the menu. Select the option to Wipe Handheld

Any phone, I have ever had and no longer use, I take them back to the local Verizon store and they will wipe out all the information for you.

Does this mean that the entire phone gets reset? I think I really messed mine up while it was updating because people are sending me text messages that I never recieve and my inbox keeps randomly deleting itself. When I unlock my phone it tells me every time that I had 1 missed call yet there are NO numbers in my call list. Something is definately wrong with the phone.

The phone was programmed with your number and that includes the voicemail number, it will not disappear until the new owner has the phone reprogrammed, you can take it Verizon and they can reprogram it with 0000000000 instead of your number, but depends on the rep you get at that time and whether they really want to help..
