    Question Hard Reset?

    will a hard reset erase everything on my blackberry or just somethings? if so what does it delete? im only doing this because my fone wont receive gmail and some said they did a hard reset and it worked so i was just wondering wat exactly this is.

    its a simple battery pull
    or in the worst case scenario you do a re-install of the operating system and DO NOT BACK UP the info on the phone however if you do this MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RECENT SYNC OF YOUR CONTACTS or else you will lose it all

    ok thanx so i may lose my contacts and how would i do a re-install or does the hard reset do that? sry so many ?'s i dont know much on this subject haha

    again it depends what exactly is the problem? if you having to reload the OS then make sure you can sync your contacts to outlook or outlook express or something....
    i can help you with it or point you to a few walk thru's that can spell the steps out for you

    no its ok um im just pulling the battery out for 30 seconds that shouldnt uninstall everything right? its an 8110 pearl.

    well i cant receive gmail i receive it on the internet but not through my fone and i know ive gotten it on my fone but i dont know y all the sudden i cant...

    do the battery pull first like i said, if that does not fix it you can wipe it if your sure you wanna do that but i doubt you need to

    So if I do a hard reset (battery pull 4 30 seconds pretty much) then that shouldn't erase ne thing on my BlackBerry? I just want 2 make sure~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
