I have yet to get GPSedYo work as described in another post. It seems that the only way to get a Verizon phone to work as a GPS is a Bluetooth puck. Seems a pitty that they continue to cripple an excellent phone. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Correct, Verizon in their greed has crippled the phone so you'll need to spend the extra 10 a month to get the GPS, a feature every other company gives for free.

I found that I would rather use an external GPS like Garmin Nuvi in the car and am not too bothered by no open gps. Excepy for the concept that the phone has it, it is advertised as having it by RIM and vzw but no mention of only with vzw navigator.
What I would love the internal GPS for is walking, riding, riding bike, parking, etc.
Everything else.about the vzw curve is right on for me and is cheaper through them than any other company for me. Never mind that all other companies fail to cover my areas I go appropriately.
