    General Options

Several places in the documentation, they refer to "General Options" under Options. I can't fine it. When I click on Options, I get a list starting with "About", but no "General Options" What am I missing?

It's confusing, but that is "General Options", with the list starting with "About". Whereas in an application, if you pull up the menu, you will have an Options menu avaiable specific to that application.

Is there a certain Option you can't find? We could probably help you out.

There is no "general options" in the "Settings" screen that starts with "About"...at least in the 8100

On the 8130, it's not called settings, when you go to the icon with the little tools on it, it's called "Options"....I think they changed a few things like that and menus between the 8100 and the 8130. Which is why I referred to it as general options

    This came from the documentation:

Change the default volume for calls

You can increase or decrease the default volume for calls. The higher the volume percentage, the louder the volume.

    1. In the phone, press the Menu
    2. Click Options.
    3. Click General Options.
    4. Change the Default Call Volume field.
    5. Press the Menu key.

    6. Click Save.

Call Log > Menu button, Options > This gives you 'Phone Options'. The first thing on the list is 'General Options'
