So far everyones help here has been awesome and I thank you all for your cooperation. When I send a email from my phone I get a duplicate message in my message box of the email I just sent. What do I need to change in my settings to stop this? Thx!

Are you using Gmail? If so you have to set up a filter in your BIS
All emails FROM you, do not send to handheld.

Yes I am using Gmail. I haven't set anything up like that. Where do I find that? I am still new and learning the ways of the BB so please forgive me.

X2 to that. Follow that walk through and set up your Gmail filter, you'll be all set.

I just realized you may be having difficulty locating your BIS which would be through your service provider (ie. I'm with TELUS). So you'll need to log onto your Service Provider's website and locate your BIS from there. Then you can sign in under your user name & password-- then follow the steps from my previous post.

Drop a line if you get hung up...no pun intended.

you can probably also go into your service books and delete the 2 desktop files that end with (cical/cmime), right?

I wouldn't get too trigger happy -- I'm not too sure about that...

    Can anybody else confirm that?

Yeah, a little extreme for what they're trying to do. At least for the moment. I'd stick with what jay_man is suggesting. Once you've successfully completed that process, if you're still stuck, then we can try another approach.

Hey I am having trouble with this. I am new to the BlackBerry, just got it yesterday, and these are the steps that I am taking. E-mail Settings -> Email Accounts. This is where I see my gmail account, no filters here. If I go into edit I don't see any filters in there either. Can some one direct me to where I am going wrong? Thank You!!
