I use the globalsat bt-359 and it works awesome with blackberry maps. Haven't tried it with any other app yet but set up and integration with the pearl is appo easy you turn on the reciever pair it with your phone and use a app with GPS feature. I bought mine off eBay for 70 bucks but it retails for 120-130

If you are looking for the bb, there are two that are fantastic:

    1.) The keychain gps

    2.) It's code named "Blue"

Try googling for both. I believe the second has double the battery life, but it's the size of a small phone, where the keychain one has 6 hours of work time but you can really clip it to your keychain and use it when you need it. The reception is very good on both. These two are the most widely mentioned on this forum from what I've seen.

Well they are little bluetooth devices. They connect to bb for the screen. Depending on what software you get, some actually has turn by turn voice directions.

I've used the Nokia LD-1W, an oldie but goodie, and it works fine. I can't speak for other brands models.
