    Question Enterprise Activation?

I have my phone all set up, have BB internet and BB email account, all seems to be running just fine. I noticed today that there is a new icon that says "Enterprise Activation". If I click on it, It asks for my Email and Password. PIN is in there!

What is this and what should I do with it?

    Thanks,

    The bid dummy!

    Re: Enterprise Activation?

It will set up your email for you. Just type in the information and your emails will be sent to your phone.

    Re: Enterprise Activation?

No, the enterprise activation is for BES users only. So if you use it for work and your work as a BES server that is what it will use it for. If you don't have a BES Server then you don't need it. You can just hide it then.

Sorry I can't answer that one, i don't have a hotmail account. I'm sure that it's been discussed on here somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.

You're not receiving an SMS duplicate. All incoming messages (SMS, MMS, email) route to the inbox. It is a consolidated message folder, not SMS only.

If you want to separate your SMS from this folder, depending on the OS version you have, you can separate them in options.

    Re: Enterprise Activation?

Are you sure Brooke? Cuz the Enterprise is only for the BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) not BIS. Maybe it was the Setup Internet Email Icon? If you did setup through that then, I'm not sure how you did it. I could be wrong since I don't use BES, but I'm pretty sure you can't.

    RedDog,

I get my email, and I get the same thing as a text message. I tried to figure out how to seperate email and text as LaTuFu said, but I guess that will take longer than the average bear! LOL!!!

    Re: Enterprise Activation?

Here's how to do it Lt:

    Go to you Inbox/Message folder

Click/Press the menu button, then select Options

    Select General Options

    Scroll to the Bottom

Change "SMS and Email Inboxes" from "Theme Controlled" or "Combined" to "Separate"

If you scroll to the bottom and don't have this option, your OS version does not have this. You can either learn the fun of upgrading your OS or learn to like the combined Inbox.

I hide all of my message folders except for the combined inbox. I like only going to one folder. Just me, your mileage may vary.
