    Hi

    I have 8100 that had a previous owner who set to simply recieve email, now trying to syncronise to computer for contacts and email.. Have loaded desktop manager version 4.2.1.8 and redirector. Contacts syncronising okay but not getting email. How do I clear previous settings and set up to syncronise.

    Hi, Tigermicaa, welcome to the Stacks.

    You will need to activate a Blackberry Data Plan with your wireless provider in order to access email on your device. It will not sync thru Desktop Manager.

    I have a data plan in place for it already, however the previous person that used the phone (co phone)did not set it to sync they simple set it up to receive their emails.
