Email problem T-Mob cant seem to resolve

    Hi all,

I'm having a major problem with my BIS.

I'm on t-mobile UK and so far t mobile haven't been able to resolve the problem.

It started when my phone service was suspended for not paying the bill. (only
had incoming calls) After reconnection, my BB didn't start receiving emails,
even after rebooting and resending service books. It always received an email
from blackberry, but never the second email from "t-mobile instant email".

Since then, ive spoken to 4 t-mobile agents, and this is how it goes.

First problem. I have the correct service books., reception etc. And my 4 mail
boxes show on the homescreen. BUT I can't receive messages on the handheld! I
just get the first one from blackberry when I register on the host routing
table. The messages get to my hotmail and g mail accounts but not to my hand
held. I CAN send emails though.

If I delete the service books, I receive emails, but only before I resend
them!! The BB shows no email boxes, but the messages come into the communal box
for some reason. BUT I can't send emails as it says the email settings are not
configured. If I resend the service books, it goes back to the first scenario.

    I've tried: nuking the handset;
Reinstalling the OS I was using. 4.2.1.101
Am now on the original OS 4.2.0.64
    And still the same problem.

Would anyone with network experience please be able to help me, before I have to
send my handset off (as I thik its a network problem, not a phone one)

    Any help much appreciated!

    Ben

Not read the whole post. But try setting up another e-mail account on the instant mail site.

I actually work for T-Mobile USA doing support on BBs and it does sound like a network problem that we need to take care of. I would call in and ask them to check the RIM tool. Just make sure that you speak to an actual BLACKBERRY rep. we have alot of different departments and some of us have more access then others. Hope that helps.

(PS you may way to ask if you are suspended in the RIM TOOL)

Absolutely. My thoughts exactly. Sounds like an issue on the RIM server. I know there was an issue on TMO usa where when restored from suspend the network wacked things up on the Rim network, but i thought it was just a TMO usa thing. Might be a little more widespread.
