    Email download from server

This is probably one of my less intelligent questions that I may ask, but how can I download the emails on my gmail server to my handheld? I am mobile right now and I can't seem to make use of the search.

    Thank you!

    taka,

I am trying to understand what you need to do. Are you having your gmail pushed to your phone?

Sorry, I am still not clear on what you are trying to do. When you delete an email on your phone you want it to delete on your gmail account? Is this correct?

I believe if you set them in gmail as unread they should download.

Sorry...but something does not make sense. I am going to appologize in advance if this is too simplistic...also I do not use gmail so forgive any mis-statements but I want to try and help!

You post that your emails are being pushed to your phone, that would indicate that you have set up your gmail account either on your AT&T web page or on your phones email set up wizzard and when you open the messages folder / application that your gmails are there. Is this correct? If not, either you have not set the account up (or not set it properly) or you have Outlook retreiving your emails (is this possible with gmail?) and have not checked "leave on server", or as doughboy suggests you read them with the web browser and they are not left on the server?

A few more details and I am sure that we can get you where you want to be!

    Re: Email download from server

If you deleted your emails and then emptied the trash, then I do not believe you can. If they have been deleted and are still in the trash, check the box next to them and choose "move to inbox". Then go to the inbox and check the email, then choose "mark unread" in the drop down box. Then try reconciling the account.

Let me know if that works.

Gmail has been slow tonight. I am testing a few settings with my account and will reply back with my findings.

True Reconciling doesnt work with BIS.

He just wants his old emails re-pushed. Not sure how but that is what he's trying to do. I'm not sure how to do this but I bet some one does.

He asked with different non-BB terminology
