    E-mail question

Hi there. I just got my bb pearl yesterday and am very new to the whole bb technology. I apologize because I know this is a stupid question.

I have my own blackberry e-mail address and want to set it up so that my work e-mail account goes to my bb too. My question is, if I am physically at work, is there a way for me to stop receiving my work e-mail on my bb?

Any help or advice is highly appreciated.

    Re: E-mail question

I know that there is an option in redirector that allows you to not recieve email when the device is connected to your pc, I dont think thats quite theanswer your looking for but hopefully someone else that uses that function will come along.

    dopeysl, Welcome to PinStack.

There is no really simple way to do this that I know of. And any method used, for the most part will only delay the delivery, not prevent the delivery of the emails received while you are at work. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

    Re: E-mail question

    Hello dopeysl, welcome to pinstack.

Here is an option for you. In your BIS account you can set up your work email to go to your BB, and when you get to work you can delete the account. You will have to add and delete it twice a day, but that will at least do what you are asking.

    Re: E-mail question

I've been trying to do the same thing - so far have settled on applying a filter via my carriers blackberry control panel which affects all emails sent to me, there is an option to choose whether they then get sent to my blackberry or not - it means logging onto the control panel via my mac at work whenever I leave or get back to work but it's the only way I have found so far...
