    E-Mail problems

I use my blackberry to receive messages from two E-Mail addresses one home one work. Over the last week the work e-mails whilst landing on my work computer through our server on time are only being received and appearing on the blackberry every 5 hours or so ie approx 5am , 11am , 5pm , 11pm with all the e-mails which have arrived in the office over each 5-6 hour period suddenly landing on my blackberry at these times.

I'm new on here does anyone have any suggestions ?????????????????

I dont have any suggestions, but who is your provider because I have been having similar issues with my 8100. I actually am waiting on a new one to arrive because that his the only solution that AT&T has offered me, which is why they are about to lose me as a customer. Thinking of moving to T-Mobile.

This is a known issue, BB KB13846 .

It happens when you have IMAP with IMAP idle. There is some discussion on some other boards about it.

I support a few blackberries and it happens on all of them with the same email system, regardless of carrier (verizon, t-mobile, at&t).
