If I'm not mistaken, that looks like the email for the BES server. Did you try to register your device on a BES server?

Try resending your service books. You can also try doing a battery pull.

Log in to your BIS account where the email accounts are and click the lin on the left that says "Service Books". That will send them to your device again. i can't give you the link because your profile does not list who you are with.

Am I correct in assuming you are on BIS and not BES?

Re: e-mail issue on my Pearl

BES is Blackberry Enterprise Service and BIS is Blackberry Internet Service. Basically, if your BB is provided by your company and they supply your with email for your BB, you are on a BES. BES can affect many aspects of the BB including browsing policies and app installations. It is based on the IT policy of the company.

BIS is provided by the carrier and does not have the restrictions as BES does. If you bought your BB at ATT and got a data plan with it then you are on BIS.

As far as your other post about how many email accounts you can have, BIS allows 10. You can set them up at the link I provided above. If your company gave you the phone and you are on BES, you could be restricted as I stated on what can be added.

Thank you very much for your help.

I use the phone for a lot of things. I bought it personally. I enjoy the ability to get my personal e-mail all day long. I was wondering if I could also get my business e-mail on it at the same time? We don't use exchange @ work. Our domain and e-mail are hosted by our phone and internet provider.

Yes you can and the way the have it hosted is even easier. There are two ways to do it.

1- Add the account to your BIS at the above link like any of your personal email accounts. Downside of that is that if you delete the email it won't show on your work PC.

2- Add a forwarding address to the email account at work, ussually through your webmail if you have access. that way it is on your mail server and not your client mail program. I would suggest sending it to the blackberry.net email account you can set up on the BIS. That way it gets pushed to the BB and does not keep a copy on another mail server.

I would recommend #2, that is how I set up my work email.

    Well.....
I resent my service books.... waited 20 mins. and sent a test e-mail. No change. Got the same message I started this thread with. E-mail was not delivered.

    Now what?

Sorry to say. But at this point I am stumped. I think a call to ATT may be in order. Ask them if they are having an server issues or if they can assist in trouble shooting.

Uninstall your desktop manager then reinsyall it but make sure you select BlackBerry internet service and not the other for redirection. That should fix it for ya
