    E-mail Attachments

So when I get an e-mail with say an attached PDF, the blackberry does not download this attachment initially. So when I want to view it, thats when I notice it gets on the network and downloads it.

My question is, after I've downloaded it, is it stored in the phone or as soon as a close the e-mail does it get deleted and can only be retrieved by downloading it again from my e-mail server?

And if it does get stored on the phone once its downloaded, is there an easy way to delete it without deleting the e-mail?

Check out this post. Make sure that you have attachment service selected on your list of applications when you plug your phone into desktop manager.

Are you asking when you open a attachment and view it if it will save the file on your device? I dont think they do. I save the email. I also use beamberry, mentioned above, that allows you to save attachments in folders. Killer app that is free also. Let us know if that helps.

MP3 files are still not downloaded, though they are at least recognized. I don't know if that's the OS's fault, or beamberry.

I dowload the Beamberry and until this moment is working good, I will keep an eye on it if I see something strange. DE

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~okay. Ya'll sold me on it. If I'm downloading it when I get off work. The person who told me about the problem didn't have a pearl. Now that pearl users are letting me know it works no problem, I believe you guys!
