    downloading issues

Does anyone know why even though I have a 1gig. Media card in my Pearl, it won't download mp3 files on the browser that are around 700 and 1000kb. Everytime I try I get an error message saying

    "request entity too large"

Also, here's the address to the website where I'm trying to get the songs from- http://msite.nl/loadz4fonez.mp

How are you trying to load them? Via desktop manager or expandable storage?

    Re: downloading issues

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I don't have a Pearl, so this is just a shot in the dark. Is it possible that the way the download site loads the file it is just too much bandwidth(data) at once for the Blackberry browser to handle? I seem to remember getting that same error message when trying to view a very large image or ringtone file on the web and the file wouldn't open. I really don't know though, like I said, just a guess. Good luck.

    Re: downloading issues

The link above in an MP file...And I am pretty sure an MP file is not an mp3 file, correct? Hence the reason it's not loading.

    Hey XLim*,
I recently found a pretty easy solution to adding files via my PC, to my Media Card, but NOT using the DM. This may be a "no-no" to post, I hope not? Anyway, after you connect your phone, go to My Computer, the very last "drive" listed, in my PC,it's K with no "label", double click the drive, you'll then see "blackberry", double click again, and there's your Media Card, double click on it, then simply copy and paste! It works easily for me... and I am a total Newb on all things BB*. Hope it works for you!
