    Downgrading OS or atleast trying to

    Okay I have downloaded 101 3-4 times today deleted vendor xml. I open up desktop manager click apploader then add......then nothing any suggestions am I missing something? I'm just trying to go back to 101 from 103.

    Yes I have deleted 103 from my computer

    Have you installed .101 on your PC?

    ok, I found that just deleting didnt work. I had to go to add/remove programs to remove the version that I wanted to remove. Actually removed all versions on my system, then reinstalled the one I wanted to use. Then it went sooo easy! I went all the way back to cing .73 because of the dropped call probs I was having. This is old software but guess whaqt? Havent lost a call yet and thats reason 1 for getting the phone.

    good call thirstee

    that is the #1 problem with people trying to upgrade or downgrade...the forget that they have another OS installed already and must UNinstall it first

    Congrats!! After suffering thru a couple of hours, I learned that the hard way! Up til 2am and then get up next morning and remember and voila , done on 1st try! Evolution: Darn semantics!

    Yea same thing happened to me until I del all OS i had installed and just reinstalled the one i wanted.
