hi guys i updated the fimware on my pearl to the .64 from the tmo website. Now i want to go back to the original firmware that was shipped from the factory like it was when i got it. Do anyone know a place, website, or anywhere that i can get my hands on the orginal OS? Also how can i downgrade it back to it? Thanks.

    Re: Downgrading

i can only assume that the one you had was 4.2.0.42

i have a copy of it. not even sure how long it would take to load it to my ftp server. i'll try.

why do you want to downgrade? you could upgrade to the newest OS v4.2.1.66

    welcome to the stacks

yes, you will need to uninstall .64 from your pc (control panel>add/remove programs)

you will need to delete the vendor.xml file from the new OS once installed
    (program files>common files>research in motion>apploader

    its my pleasure
