Just to clarify, when you say version 4.2 and version .64 they are mentioning the SAME VERSION NUMBER, but different parts of it.

We call the latest version of Desktop Manager version 4.2, however the latest version for the device OS itself is 4.2.0.64 which is where they get the .64 and where you got the 4.2

Basically i'm saying look at the WHOLE number, earlier someone said that .41 would not allow for larger than 1gb of a disk, which means OS version 4.2.0.41

Sorry, that link to T-Mobile has not been working for some time (you can enter your phone number, but you will get this error:
Sorry, due to high volume of download demands there are no software downloads available at this time. Please try again later today when there are fewer concurrent connections.)

If your version is 4.2.0.69 then you have a version that DOES accept 2gb cards, the only upgrade available is the one provided by Cingular, which works for the Tmobile pearl, but tmobile will likely not provide support if you use the cingular upgrade.

Basically, i'd leave it at .69 as it does what you want.

Just hit the F5 key about 5 times to get the download. It's a glitch on T-Mo's site. I just upgraded my OS to 4.2.0.64.

    Re: Does Size Matter

.64 was the upgrade from Tmo that was supposed to allow >1GB as far as i remember, it was the .4x version that Tmo provided that did not support it.
