Just an update on how I like the 8120...
I love it! it is the best phone/hand device I have ever owned. I have not been this satisfied with a portable handheld since the 1st generation of iPods were released!

The only way you could improve on perfection is to add GPS as well as wifi. Oh now that would be sexy!!!!

Make sure you don't have any pictures on the hard drive, that fixed it for me, just have them on your hard drive.

Do yourself a favor and delete any installed applications that you don't need. It helped me out a lot. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Well I had to get a warranty replacement for my 8120. The trackball started acting buggy. I usually get frustrated with a phone really quick but not this time. I'm still loving my 8120 all the same. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

My 8120 is the best! I'm still reluctant to totally stop carrying around my 8100, but the 8120 is such an improvement...the best bday present I ever gave myself!I can't wait to start buying skins and other accessories...lol~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I love my T-Mobile 8120. UMA calling over Wi-Fi is really great! I have crappy coverage in my apartment, but now my calls are clear.

Some one is always going to find a problem with a phone very few people mention all the good qualitys in a pda. I really don't need a blackberry for work I got my first 8100 because I love high tech phone but got hooked on BB due to it I had that phone till I ran it into the ground. I had the 8130 for sprint and it was garbage on there network. They restricted way to much so I got back on tmo and got the 8310 curve and it wasn't the same. I got the 8120 and have the wife her first BB. Now with all the upgrades from the 8100 its basicly a new pearl inside with the better keyboard, camera on the outside. I feel that the processor is faster email downloadunh is faster and the phone in my eyes is the best blackberry out eight now~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Just got the 8120 from TMO for $50. Replaced my Cingular 2125 Win Mobile 5 phone. I would say the BB beats the Win phone in every way, except the browser and the fact you can use Opera Mobile on the Win phone.
Love the TMO theme (Looked at most of all the other carriers themes)
Just wish they had a TMO today theme. (also without the ugly yellow).
I ended up making my own Today theme (kind of like the TMO) with White highlights and no yellow selector.

Now that I have one thats not defective I love, despite the horrible memory leak/s and every 5 hour restarts. Great little guy.
