I just installed the new OS and I do not see much of a differences between this one and my old one (.64) Am I missing something or what? Also I remember reading something about unlocking themes?

    Re: Differences

It's mostly bug fixes. So it's backend stuff not really noticable at first.

    Unlocking themes

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~should run a little bit quicker, shouldn't erase your sms and call logs when you run out of memory. Stuff like that.

Someone posted that you can now turn off the auto dim feature, though I'm not sure why you'd want to do that. I happen to really love that feature, makes it easy to view in bright sunlight, and saves your eyes and battery life, when you do in a low light area.

I played around, but couldn't find where you'd turn the feature off.

When listening to music, it now scrolls the song title, and I believe it now displays more information then it did in version .64.

They got rid of using SYM key to toggle between SureType and Multi Tap, however.

anyone know if there is release info for these updates as far as what exactly it does add/fix/update as with most software updates for applications?

Here is something new:when using the browser, hit the menu key. There is a new way to view a page. It's call "desktop view."

I haven't played with it much, but I might.

Also, my battery life has improved.

Yup, now if you have the new OS and you do not have the data feature you shouldn't (shouldn't) have to add the BB enabler either. As long as you have the new OS you should be able to do MMS and IM automatically just like other non pda phones.

BB enabler is free with TM, why not.
