The 8120 has Wi-Fi, the 8100 does not. The 8120 also has a better camera and longer battery life

The micro-SD slot is accessable from the outside, the key pad is slightly improved and there's a couple costmetic changes, too.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the other is that the 8120 is running the 4.3 os out of the box which is better than 4.2 that's on the 8100. That's only a big deal if your not looking to put 4.5 on either 8100 8120

I have had both and IMHO the 8120 has more memory space available, the outside micro sd slot is a huge help as much as I change mine, the video is kewl and of course the wifi! To me the keys are much more stable, and the browser, coming with 4.3 software, is much easier to navigate. All in all, I would take the 8120 any day over the 8100, and as I said, I have used both. Hope this helps . . . .

Also, the 8120 has two stereo speakers, whereas the 8100 has one.

And, the 8120 comes with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, oppose to the 2.5mm on the 8100.
