    Desktop Manager Help!

    So I finally get the new DM downloaded now I'm trying to install it. It's not working. All the way to the very end when it says installation complete, I get this message:



    Installation Wizard Completed




    The Wizard was interrupted before Blackberry Desktop
    Software could be installed.

    Your system has not been motified. To complete installation at
    another time, please run setup again.




    Click Finish to exit the wizard



    Okay, so what's going on? I've tried it 5 times before I went back and re-downloaded it, then tried it again and I get the same message at the end, now I'm DM-less until I get this up and running. What do I do, wait it out and hope it works tommorow? Thanks ahead of time.

    What OS are you running on your PC? What version of DM are you trying to install?

    I would completely uninstall the DM off the PC and grab a fresh install. You may have gotten a corrupt file along the way during the download. Make sure you don't have any anti-virus software running in background, turn off any other running apps as well so there is NO interference with your installation.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~Hey there Lava. Up late on a Saturday night huh? I have .107 os and I'm trying to get the most updated DM from TMO. 4.2.2 something. There's no real uninstall to do, coz it won't install. I think the download comprimised my old DM. Guess I'll try to delete it and re-download it. Wasn't expecting a response tonight, so thanks for getting back to me

    You need to uninstall the old DM Justyn. Then try my suggestions above, bring up device manager on PC and kill all running apps you don't need running prior to install. Your AV software could be interfering with the install.

    Awesome! Knew it had to be an app that was running causing interference
