    Hi

    I have installed DM 4.5 for my 8120 but when I go to Syncronization settings I get a message saying the computer must be connected to the internet to initially configure sync settings. I am connected to the internet (via a proxy).

    Any ideas out there?

    Try going to your Start Menu -> BlackBerry and open the Device Manager. Right click the Device Manager that pops into your sytem panel in the right hand corner of the screen and click Properties. Click the "BlackBerry Router Configuration". On the tab, click "Add Router" and enter your proxy address and port number and ccheck "Turn On User Defined Routers".

    Fiddling with that should get you where you need to be.

    What if you don't have a proxy? I'm having the same problem. Running 4.5.0.55, T-mo Pearl 8100, DM 4.6.0.12

    I installed the 4.5 DTM when I upgraded my 8310 to 4.5. I didnt care for the 4.5 DTM-too buggy, so I went back to the 4.3 DTM and have had no issues since.
