Deleting Applications from 8100?
I've ran into some trouble trying to figure out how to delete some of the themes and applications that I have load onto my blackberry. For starters I never had the blackberry desktop manager until now (4.5). Before getting a PC I had a mac and I load all my applications via pockemac. Now my question is all those applications that I loaded kinda makes my phone slower for some reason and I kinda want get rid of them but I'm not sure how to go about it.
They don't show up under the applications menu in options and the themes just show up where themes are...
any ideas how?
Under Options, Advanced Options, Applications, select the application you want to delete, bring up the menu and choose Delete.
Theme's are there as well. Just be cautious of what you delete as it can mess up your BB.
The instructions provided above by KalebsDad78 are perfect. The key is to go very slow and carefully as suggested, it's all too easy to select the wrong app, delete it, only to find you made a mistake which will cost you a lot of time to reload. Or worse.

Alright couple questions about deleting certain apps. First, the 'Blackberry Sample Video'. Thats just what it sounds like right? The video that comes pre-installed on the bb? So deletinig it will be fine? And second..all the other language support. Any of them gonna mess up my bb if i delete some unnecessary languages? Thanks.
You can delete the video as well as the extra languages without issues...
Okay thanks alot Gary. Just thought id ask before I screw somethin up lol.
You might also fire up Desktop Manager and take a look at Application Loader...it will read and list the items on your device and allow you to delete them by un checking a box, and it wont let you delete anything critical to your devices operation.
