    personally, i'd come here first before calling your carrier for tech support neway but im biased

    I have the same issue with my Cingular Pearl and it has the latest OS. I've noticed this with my othe cell phones too though (Verizon Razr) and just figured it was me being faster than cellular waves!

    I just got into the habit of waiting 2 seconds before saying "hello".

    Good habit to be in with the current situation however it's a pretty irritating little glitch in my opinion. Stinks that you have the latest Cingy OS and it's still going on for you. Maybe you are just too fast!!! I've heard the update does help it though!
