    Hey guys, i recently downgraded from 4.3 beta because of some errors that seem to be common and went to cingulars 4.2 sp2.. the phone worked for about an hour then died on me, i can plug it into a wall outlet without a battery and it shows the battery with a slash through it saying i have no battery inserted, one led flash, then i unplug it and put the battery in and i get nothing unless i take the battery out tap beside the mute button and quickly put it back in, then i get one led flash and nothing after it goes off(the led)

    Am i bricked or is it a dead battery?

    well it seems now if i just hit the battery on somthing to will do the one led flash and go off... dead battery? or fired battery maybe?

    has anyone had this problem before? Its finally stopped connecting to my computer now with a battery in, and without the battery in i cant change anything that i know of... i miss my pearl

    Try wiping and reinstalling the OS on the phone again.

    with or without my battery? the only way i can get my pc to detect is without a battery...

    ok, just tried without the battery and it said "Unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load opperation" going to try with a battery this time...

    same thing with the battery in, i had to click on the next button right as the computer said unknown device to get it to even try....

    (with battery in) I have to click next right as it says "Usb-Pin:unknown" lets me choose device apps and i click finish it goes to te updating your decive screen, and gets to the waiting for device initialization and dies stops there giving me the error.. same thing without battery

    i hear windows connect, disconnect, connect again and disconnect twice

    Try this: Uninstall and reinstall the OS on your PC. Wipe the BB. Try the fresh install. If you had a backup of your apps and contacts, then reinstall that.

    how can i wipe it when theres no way i can connect... unless you mean through the app loader but i didnt see an option to wipe it...
