I have no data plan, can I still synch emails from my outlook?

Hi , I am using BBP as a phone only, my work is either at home or at the office, so I dont' really need emails coming in on the road, but it would be nice to be able to reaad them and reply to them, sending them after I synch with outlook. I used to be able to do it on my Axim PDA, is there a way to do this on the BBP?

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I don't think this is possible.

However, I've never not had a BlackBerry Data Plan, and therefore I could be mistaken.

Email will not sync using the Desktop Manager. And if it did, it would require two syncs with Outlook, one to download the email, then one to upload the reply. Seem like a redundant and in-efficient procedure. I suppose you could use this procedure, If you really can't afford a BB data plan.

    1. cut and past the email body to an Outlook note,
    2. sync that,
    3. the use MemoPad to read and prepare the reply,
    4. Save,
    5. sync that back to the PC,
    6. then cut and paste the body of your reply to the Reply in Outlook.
    7. Send Reply

    Hope this helps

Not much of a problem if you have an email server that you have admin rights to, this can be set up with a little install and configuration. Let me know and I can provide details.

    Cheers.

    baltee, Welcome to PinStack.

Could you please explain the process? This sounds interesting.
